Goodbye 2016

by Balvinder. 11 Comments

Doesn’t time really fly by?

2016 surely went by quickly. It was quite eventful for me.

  • We moved in our newly built home. It’s been a year but I am still not completely done decorating and finding the right furniture for the house.
  • We were able to take three planned vacations this year to Phoniex, San Francisco and Italy.
  • In the summer my sister and her family flew from India and stayed with us for a month.
  • I became a Google Create and Create India member. “Google Create”  is a place of people from all around the world with varied talents and interests . You can be part of this unique program too.  Read this post to meet the requirements.
  • Blog wise, I am happy that friends and readers are trying out and enjoying my recipes.
  • My blog was ranked among the best 100 gluten free blogs.  It would not have been possible without the support of my readers, through their comments and appreciation on social networking sites. I am immensely grateful.
  • Azlin Bloor included my Tandoori gobhi recipe in her Foodies Christmas e book. It is a collection of recipes from around the world by foodies+ members. This book will probably be the best gift you can give to your friends for Christmas or just keep  for yourself. All proceeds are going to Action Against Hunger, so don’t miss a chance to help out

As you read this post I am on my way to India for my niece’s wedding, so it’s going to be a bit quiet around here until after the new year. We did not expect to be going but this is the first marriage in the family on my husband’s side. Being an elder son and daughter in law, our presence was important in this joyous occasion.

So no recipe today. But don’t worry though, I have compiled a list of 20 posts that were most viewed on my blog in 2016.
